We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient care through thorough assessments, preventive treatments, and patient education, all while collaborating closely with our dental team.

Schedule:

Thursdays 8am-5pm and Fridays 8am-2pm

• Cleans calcareous deposits, accretions, and stains from teeth and beneath margins of gums using dental instruments.
• Examines gums for disease and lymph nodes for oral cancer.
• Applies fluorides or other cavity-preventing agents to arrest dental decay.
• Take digital x-rays.
• Document patient interactions, treatments, and clinical notes accurately.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring adherence to safety and infection control protocols.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of preventive care.

• Valid KY Dental Hygiene License.
• Previous experience as a Dental Hygienist is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on patient education and comfort.
• Ability to accurately document clinical notes and maintain patient records.
• Collaborative spirit with a positive attitude towards teamwork.
