Reporting to the Chief Strategy Officer, the PepperPointe Marketing and Events Manager is a key member of the Strategy team. The Marketing and Events Manager manages a broad range of marketing projects and special events and is involved in most day-to-day activities of the team. The Marketing and Events Manager assists with the creation of special events, the creation and management of digital content, and the generation of marketing materials. Ultimately, this position is responsible for helping to develop marketing tools and events that directly support fulfillment of PepperPointe’s mission and vision and achievement of its strategic plan and business development objectives. 

 

 

A Day In The Life Of

  • Assist with overall marketing planning and objective setting.  
  • Assist in the development of effective marketing strategies that support business development activities resulting in strong positioning in the industry. 
  • Serve as a project manager for marketing collateral materials, including the creation of pitches and proposals and related collateral, material for pitch meetings, and speaking engagements, events, sponsorships, and other communications.  
  • Coordinates the planning and execution of business development-related events, sponsorships, webinars and speaking engagements. 
  • Responsible for the development and fulfillment of the events and marketing budgets, including managing the on-site set up, production and take down of events. 
  • Manage the editorial calendar and overall content strategy for the organization. 
  • Keep abreast of industry trends, best practices, and new opportunities within the dental industry, and related to marketing and communications initiatives and efforts. 
  • Builds and executes a media relations strategy for organization. 
  • Creation and distribution of press releases for PepperPointe and its affiliate practices, as appropriate. 
  • Manages relationships within the industry, including media contacts, to better position our organization as a leader in the industry and help build brand awareness. 
  • Manages the website and all social media platforms for the organization. 
  • Manage the multimedia library for the organization. 
  • Manage relationships with any outside organizations, agencies, or third parties related to the organization’s marketing efforts. 
  • Maintains quality working relationships with internal and external customers and vendors. 
  • Proactively establishes timelines and checklists for all events and initiatives and develops strong cross-functional collaboration with key players inside and outside the organization for execution. 
  • Supports the management of the overarching brand strategy for the organization. 
  • Manages the communications guide and brand guide for the organization to ensure a consistent brand voice and look and feel for all materials and related efforts, working closely with team members and other stakeholders. 
  • Coordinates and arranges meetings and appointments, as required.

  • Demonstrates strong organizational skills, the ability to meet deadlines, and the ability to solve problems

  • Must understand the goals, service, culture and strategy of the organization 
  • Is an extremely flexible and adaptable self-starter with a winning attitude and team spirit 
  • Relationship-building skills: Capable of building and perpetuating profitable business partnerships and relationships, which promote long-term success 
  • Ability to understand client needs and demonstrate the value of PepperPointe Partnerships 
  • Three to five years of marketing, communications, public relations or related experience  
  • Working knowledge of CRM tools 
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field 
  • Must be capable of independently organizing and prioritizing work 
  • Willingness and ability to travel

  • Three to five years of marketing, communications, public relations or related experience, primarily in the business sector and related directly to the medical or dental industry, is ideal.
