We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medicaid Insurance Specialist to join our team.  The primary focus will be on Medicaid-related tasks. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of Medicaid patient coordination, insurance verification, claims management, and compliance. This role is crucial in ensuring that our Medicaid patients receive the highest quality care while maintaining regulatory compliance and financial health of the practices.

 

A Day In The Life Of

  • Insurance Verification:
    • Ensure all necessary documentation is in place for treatment approval.
  • Compliance:
    • Ensure adherence to all Medicaid regulations and guidelines.
    • Maintain proper documentation and coding practices.
  • Liaison Role:
    • Act as a liaison between the orthodontic practice and Medicaid offices.
    • Facilitate smooth communication and resolve any issues.
  • Administrative Support:
    • Provide general administrative support to the orthodontic team.
    • Maintain patient records and manage correspondence related to Medicaid.

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in healthcare administration is a plus.
  • Preferred previous experience in a dental or orthodontic office, particularly with Medicaid patients.
  • Strong understanding of Medicaid regulations and guidelines a strong plus.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in dental practice management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
