***This role is based on site at our Lexington, KY headquarters. This is not a remote position***
We are looking for a Database Engineer I with data warehousing experience comfortable working in a technology focused environment to join our data team.
This position will be responsible for acquisition and integration of data sources into our Data Lake, management of databases and leading the design of the company's data strategy to solve the company’s business problems. The ideal candidate will have a high working knowledge of Database Structures, BASH, Linux, Python, SFTP, Microsoft SQL, Airflow, Docker Containers, API Programming, and ETLs.
To be successful in this position, you should demonstrate excellent organizational skills and critical thinking skills. You should also have a propensity to be proactive in addressing issues and concerns to avoid crises, and constantly be looking to innovate old methods and processes for greater efficiency and effectiveness.
Additional Responsibilities: Perform other duties as assigned, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the Analytics department
