The Opportunity

PepperPointe Partnerships is seeking a Marketing & Engagement Manager to join our Strategy team in Lexington, Kentucky, and help build the future pipeline of dentists across the practices we support. 

Reporting to the Chief Strategy Officer, this role is responsible for developing and executing strategies that increase awareness of PepperPointe-supported practices as attractive places to build a career, generate prospective doctor leads and build long-term relationships with dentists throughout every stage of their careers. Through recruitment marketing, events, outreach, dental school and residency engagement, and ongoing relationship-building, the Marketing & Engagement Manager will develop and cultivate a strong pipeline of dentists for both current and future opportunities. 

A Day In The Life Of

  • Develop and execute an annual doctor talent marketing and engagement strategy aligned with current and anticipated doctor needs across supported practices. 
  • Build awareness of PepperPointe and its supported practices among practicing dentists, residents and dental students through targeted marketing, digital and social channels, professional networks, events and other creative strategies. 
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective doctors, including developing strategies to identify, engage and nurture both active and passive candidates. 
  • Plan and execute recruitment events, conferences, dental school and residency programs, networking opportunities and other experiences that generate leads and strengthen relationships with prospective doctors. 
  • Develop and maintain relationships with priority dental schools, residency programs, professional organizations and other partners that can strengthen PepperPointe's long-term doctor pipeline. 
  • Manage ongoing candidate engagement and the doctor candidate CRM, ensuring prospective doctors receive thoughtful, personalized and consistent communication based on their interests, career stage and timing. 
  • Conduct initial outreach and conversations with prospective doctors to understand their interests, goals, geography, specialty and career timing. 
  • Identify candidates who are ready to actively explore an opportunity and facilitate a thoughtful handoff to the appropriate Partner Relations Manager. 
  • Track and evaluate marketing, event and pipeline performance, using data to improve strategies and provide visibility into the strength of the doctor pipeline. 
  • Collaborate with Partner Doctors, Partner Relations Managers and other teammates to create a consistent, relationship-driven candidate experience.

  • Strong marketing, relationship-building and business development instincts. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Ability to creatively market opportunities and engage a highly targeted professional audience. 
  • Experience planning and executing events, campaigns or relationship-based engagement programs. 
  • Comfort initiating conversations and building relationships with individuals who may not currently be considering a career change. 
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a large pipeline while maintaining personalized follow-up. 
  • Experience using CRM, marketing automation or pipeline-management tools. 
  • Ability to use data to evaluate results and adjust strategies. 
  • Self-motivated, proactive and comfortable balancing strategy with hands-on execution. 
  • Ability to travel approximately 5–10 times per year, including occasional nights and weekends. 

 

Education and Experience:  

  • Bachelor's degree in businessmarketing, communications, or equivalent professional experience. 
  • Two to four years of experience in marketing, business development, relationship management, events, talent engagement, recruiting or a related field preferred. 
  • Healthcare, dental, professional services or other relationship-driven industry experience is a plus.
